Gauges are smart contracts that reward BAO tokens to users staking LP tokens. They incentivize liquidity for the Bao ecosystem.
How Gauges Work
Users stake their LP tokens in gauges to earn BAO rewards over time.
The gauge weight decides the volume of BAO rewards allocated to each gauge.
veBAO holders vote to set gauge weights based on the potential to benefit the ecosystem.
Gauges empower veBAO holders to direct incentives to the most valuable liquidity pairs. This boosts liquidity where it matters most for the health of the ecosystem. A dashboard for voting on gauges is in the earn page
